Common questions.
How do I add my first item?
Open the Items tab and tap the + in the top right. Take or pick a photo, give the item a name, save. Everything else (serial, location, categories, price, quantity) is optional and editable later. As soon as the item exists you'll see “Print QR tag” on its detail screen.
How do QR tags work?
Each item has a unique code printed on its tag. Scanning the tag from the Scan tab opens the matching item, where you can lend it or, if it's out, return it. Print a sheet of tags from Settings → Print QR sheet, or a single label from each item's detail screen.
Can I track quantity (e.g. 200 folding chairs)?
Yes. Set quantity on the item form. Lend any number of units out at a time — Reevly tracks how many are still out, who has them, and lets you accept a partial return that re-opens a loan for the remainder. One QR tag per item row, not per unit.
What's the difference between locations and categories?
Locations are physical places things live (Garage shelf 2, Studio cabinet B). Categories are tags that travel with the item regardless of where it's stored (Cameras, Audio, Tools). Each category can also carry a default loan duration — set “Snorkel gear” to 1 day and that tag overrides the team-wide 7-day default in the lend flow.
Can my borrowers see my data?
No. Borrowers don't have Reevly accounts. They're just names (and optional contact info) you keep for yourself. Only you can see your items and loan history.
How do I export my data?
From Settings → Share & print, you can export items, borrowers, and loans to CSV. For a full JSON export covering everything (including photo URLs and timestamps), email admin@reevly.app and we'll send it within a couple of business days.
I lost my phone. Now what?
Your data lives on our servers, not on the device. Install Reevly on a new iPhone, sign in with the same email, and your items, borrowers, and loan history come back. The QR tags on your stuff still work.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete account. You'll get a 30-day grace window where you can undo from any sign-in. After 30 days the data is permanently removed and your Apple ID is unlinked. See our privacy policy for the full disposition.
Why doesn't Reevly run on Android?
Reevly is live on the App Store now, built iPhone-first while we polish the experience. Android is on the roadmap. If you'd like to know when Android lands, send a note via the form on this page and we'll add you to the list.
